The Sublime Temple is the strand where the philosophy of the house takes flesh: event heterotopias, on the edge of live performance — high points where the audience does not watch the work: it makes it, together, for the length of an evening.
Each event practises the art of ritual in the sense live performance gives that word: a dramaturgy of thresholds, rhythms and silences, a scenography, a weave held with a rigour all the greater for the intensity of the experience — and which remains emergent, open to what the moment will bring.
You enter through play: practices of connectedness founded on gaze, dialogue, sound, movement, touch and artistic expression, in a crescendo towards a total experience at the heart of the celebration. The pleasures of the senses and of the mind are celebrated — music and poetry, dance, the sensory — up to those moments of grace, outside time, where the group holds itself in welcome, in listening, in giving and in care. Radical presence to oneself, to the other, to what unfolds — to the point where the instant itself becomes the work, co-created with everyone present.
The event formats of the Temple: so many doors onto the same search, each one a variation — conscious touch, dance, transformation.
The retreat format of the Temple: several days of immersion in slowness and silence, where presence, collective movement and scenography compose a common work. Its first edition, The Art of Quietude, was held in the summer of 2025 at the Centre Zen de la Falaise Verte.
